A bed limiter is a key internal component installed above the packing bed in a packed tower to prevent packing displacement or fluidization during high gas velocities or process upsets.


The bed limiter is essential for maintaining the stability and performance of the packed bed, especially in systems operating under dynamic conditions such as distillation, absorption, and stripping.​

 

Under the turbulent condition of liquid or vapour flow. Fabricated as segments and bolted for large diameter. It is to clamp or 360á´¼ support ring or fixed by friction bolts.
